Within the scope of the guard’s authority and by combination of actions on good performance, effective and efficient management of our well-trained guards, we desire to achieve the following: 

Security officers from Remington Security Specialists, Inc. following standard operating procedures during field deployment.
  1.  Enforce the company/client’s house rules and regulations.
  2.  Implement and enforce the Personnel Identification System (PIS).
  3. Patrol and observe designated areas, perimeters, structures, installations, properties, and activities of security interest.
  4. Prevent unauthorized personnel or vehicular entry into the areas designated in the contract. In line with this:
    • No individual shall be allowed to enter the building or premises within the area unless it has been reasonably determined that allowing such entry is not contrary to the interest of the client management or that the individual is authorized to do so in accordance with applicable orders, rules, and regulations.
    • The above prohibitions and requirements shall also apply to all individuals regarding access, removal, and/or possession of materials, supplies, equipment, and all properties owned by the client company within the said area.
    • Take into custody any persons attempting or gaining unauthorized access to restricted, limited, or controlled areas.
  5. Check all portions of the guarded premises including its common in areas which might be of security interest and see to it that all possible entries and exits are properly locked after working hours;
  6. Prevent acts of espionage or sabotage within the area of responsibility by means of constant and frequent surveillance;
  7. In the event of occurrence of fire, explosions, collapse or other catastrophes, immediate actions must be taken so as to minimize the effects thereof and restore the area to a safe condition as soon as possible. The Security Detachment/Security Agency must be notified immediately;
  8. The Security Detachment/Security Agency office must be notified immediately, by all means, of any unusual incident occurring within the vicinity; 
  9. Control and regulate the vehicle and personnel traffic as well as the parking of vehicles within the area of jurisdiction in order to prevent vehicular accidents;
  10. Provide written description/general report to the Security Detachment/Security Agency within four (4) hours after each Shift, to be prepared and submitted by the Detachment Commander or his designated subordinate in the Detachment describing the activities performed by the Security Force and all security related incidents observed and acted upon during the shift;
  11. Acknowledge receipt, secure and account for all keys issued for the use in the execution of the service. Duplicated or replacement is strictly prohibited; 
  12. Follow the following procedures when bomb threat is received by telephone:
    • Keep the caller on the line as long as possible and record every word spoken by the caller; 
    • If the location of the bomb or time of possible detonation is not given, try to get this information;
    • Pay particular attention to any background noises, such as music or running motors which might lead to even a remote clue as to the place from which the call is being made; 
    • Listen closely to the voice (male/female) quality, accents and speech impediments; and 
    • Immediately after the caller hangs up, contact the Security Detachment/Security Agency by all means; 
  13. Respond to protective alarm signals or other indications of suspicious activities and emergencies;
  14. Keep record of telephone numbers of important private and government agencies for use in case of emergencies; 
  15. Execute and implement the several orders, postorders, special orders and instructions in accordance with this operating procedures and pursuance to the provision of contract.
